This morning, I'm at the BLM-managed Los Angeles National Conservation Area, about 40 minutes south of Tucson, Arizona, on Highway 83. There is free camping for 14 days in several camping areas. Next, I head to Negeta Campground, a free camping area located within this BLM-managed area. There are informational signs outlining the rules for free camping for 14 days. There are several campsites where large vehicles can park, and I take a drive-through tour to show the sites and facilities. All the sites appear occupied, but there is plenty of space for large vehicles. It's important to keep in mind that some days there may not be any available space, but overall, this camping area seems large-vehicle friendly.
