Melody and I retired in 2018 and since then we have been traveling across the United States looking for the best free and cheap campsites. In this video, we take you to discover the best free and cheap campsites in Arizona. For this overview of the best free and cheap campsites in Arizona, I will be using Google Earth. The first place we'll go to is Metree Lake, located about 11 miles north of Yuma, Arizona. It is a wildlife management area jointly managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) with 14 days of free camping. Next, we'll go to the Roadrunner BLM, just outside of Quartzsite, Arizona, offering 14 days of free camping and easy flat terrain. Then we will go to Plumosa Road BLM, where I tested my newly installed solar system. Next, we will visit Kofa View BLM, offering spectacular views of the Kofa Mountain Range. Next, we will go to King Road BLM, offering impressive scenery and hiking opportunities. Finally, we will visit the Palm Canyon BLM, my favorite camp in this area of Arizona, offering magnificent views of the palm canyons. Finally, we have Twin Peaks Campground in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, a paid but affordable campground with spectacular scenery. Melody gives us her opinion on this campsite and shows us the magic of this place. If you like free and affordable RV camping, you'll love these Arizona destinations.
