Hello everyone and welcome to the channel. I want to thank you for the support, we just crossed 3000 subscribers, it was incredible. Today I'm going to highlight a few areas in Southern California that are ideal for overlanding beginners. I will use the Gaia GPS map to show the camping areas. It is important to do your research before exploring these areas, as some can be difficult due to weather and trail conditions. I recommend checking out the easy trails in the description to orient yourself. Some places have dispersed camping, others have established campsites, and some require reservations online in advance.

The Trona Pinnacles area is a great place to start, with easy trails and dispersed camping areas. Joshua Tree National Park is also great for beginners, with the Burdu Canyon Trail recommended for off-roading. Finally, Big Bear in California offers many easy trails and dispersed camping areas or established campsites. Don’t forget to practice “leave no trace” and do your homework before setting off to explore these magnificent places.
