Today we explored the incredible Tablelands. These formations represent one of the rare outcrops of the Earth's mantle coming from beneath the oceanic crust, they are rich in toxic metals (chromium, cobalt, nickel, etc.) for most plant species. This unique composition gives the Tablelands their ocher desert appearance, almost without vegetation. A breathtaking landscape and an unforgettable adventure!
