Abandoned village in Newfoundland, so secret that only a few can visit it.

The video is about an abandoned village called Petites in Newfoundland, Canada, located near Port Abbas. In 2003, the majority of residents decided to move following a government buyout, leaving their homes and their history behind. Some former residents like Austin Bennett still return to visit the village, even though it is in ruins, and maintain their old homes. Despite the ruined buildings and nature reclaiming its rights, a wooden church dating from 1859 was restored by a retired couple from Ontario. Bennett hopes visitors will respect what's left of Petites.
