Description
Camping at Five Islands Provincial Park, on the shore of the Minas Basin (Bay of Fundy), in Nova Scotia, is known for its 90-meter cliffs and some of the highest tides in the world. The campground offers 46 unserviced sites, 36 serviced sites (2 services: 30 amp electricity and potable water, including 17 pull-through sites), and 10 walk-in sites, in addition to a group site. On-site: washroom block with showers, composting toilets, potable water points, dump station, dishwashing station, limited wifi at the office (firewood and ice for sale). Activities: beach access, canoeing-kayaking, swimming in saltwater, and three hiking trails offering views of the famous islands. Season from early June to mid-October; reservations recommended.
