Description
A unique archipelago where erosion has sculpted spectacular limestone monoliths in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence, off the Côte-Nord. Puffins, seals, and sometimes whales can be observed here. The islands themselves are only accessible by boat or through organized excursions from Longue-Pointe-de-Mingan or Havre-Saint-Pierre -- there is no direct road access, but boondocking is possible on six of the islands.
