The Halte VR du Mont Radar, located in Saint-Sylvestre in the Chaudière-Appalaches region, offers camping sites without services in the heart of nature for recreational vehicles and vanlife. The grounds are grassy or sandy, with no electricity or direct services to the vehicle. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire pit. Chemical toilets and a drinking water reservoir are available on site, as well as paid access to showers ($1 for 4 minutes) and laundry facilities ($1.25 to $2) at the welcome building. Wi-Fi is accessible nearby. On site, you will find over 3.4 km of hiking trails leading to the summit of Mont Sainte-Marguerite, offering a 360-degree view. There is also a beach, inflatable water games, and guided tours of the military restoration sites. Operations are on a first-come, first-served basis. You can book your stay online and choose your space on site. The base rate includes 2 adults and 3 children, with additional fees for extra people or tents. Please respect nature and the site, and leave nothing behind.
