Unattended overnight parking is banned November 1 to April 30 (midnight-8am). A separate community standards bylaw targets long-term storage of derelict RVs, but not overnight parking by a passing traveller.

The Silent Witness Memorial is accessible by following the signs to the memorial. The gravel road leads to the memorial and a little further to the water's edge. Flat area for parking with a picnic table. Portable toilets at the memorial site.
