Description
Tortilla Camping is a winter campground located just outside the metropolitan area of Phoenix. From October to March each year, city dwellers enjoy cooler temperatures and engage in boating, fishing, hiking, climbing, and scenic drives through the surrounding Tonto National Forest. Campers wake up to a backdrop of rugged cliffs, saguaro cacti, and desert skies. The campground is located directly across from the picturesque historic Apache Trail, in Tortilla Flat, Arizona, which is home to a general store and a restaurant.
