Free BLM dispersed camping area near the Chiriaco Summit rest area along I-10, just minutes from the General Patton Memorial Museum and the south entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. No amenities on site (no drinking water, no restrooms): gas, convenience store, and restaurant less than a kilometer away. As with all BLM dispersed camping, stay is limited to 14 consecutive days within any 28-day period. Free.
