Description
Developed camping by the Bureau of Land Management in the Clear Creek Management Area, near Oak Flat campground. On site, you will find picnic tables, shade shelters, fire rings, and vault toilets. A BLM vehicle permit is required. This area is popular for hiking and collecting semi-precious stones, but beware: the soil contains natural asbestos, so caution is advised during dry and dusty conditions. Respect nature and local regulations.
