Description
The most remote campground in Picacho State Recreation Area, located at the end of the protected area along the Colorado River, with only 3 primitive sites (table, fire pit, canopy). Road access via Picacho Road, a dirt road about 18 miles from Winterhaven after the first 6 paved miles -- not recommended for large RVs or heavy trailers, especially in rainy weather. Also accessible by boat. No individual reservations: first come, first served. $25 USD (1 vehicle) / $35 USD (2 vehicles) per night.
