The Glory Hole Recreation Area is located near the New Melones Reservoir, close to Angels Camp, California, along Highway 49. Managed by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, this area offers two large campgrounds with over 140 sites:

- Ironhorse Campground: suitable for tents and large recreational vehicles (up to 60 feet).
- Big Oak Campground: accessible for tents and recreational vehicles.
