Description
Campsites managed by the Bureau of Land Management in the Clear Creek Management Area, an isolated area of the Diablo Range, at the border of San Benito and Fresno counties. You will find picnic tables, shade shelters, fire rings, and vault toilets. A BLM vehicle permit is required. It’s a good starting point for hiking and searching for semi-precious stones, but stay vigilant: the soil in the area contains natural asbestos, so avoid dry and dusty days. Respect the places and nature by leaving nothing behind.
