Description
The Johns River Road wild camping site is located along the Mountains to Sea trail near Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Two sites are available, each with a fire ring, and can accommodate up to 6 people. Access is via the Boone Fork trail or the Old John’s River road between mileposts 296 and 297 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. No toilet facilities are available, and it is necessary to purify water before consumption.
