Description
This park preserves the badlands of North Dakota where Theodore Roosevelt ran a ranch in the 1880s. Bison, wild horses, and prairie dogs can easily be seen along the scenic drive of the South Unit. The visitor center and Cottonwood Campground are located right next to the picturesque western town of Medora.
