The Alexander Springs recreation area is located in the southeast of the Ocala National Forest in Florida. This site is known for its first-magnitude spring, which discharges over 240 million liters of turquoise and crystal-clear water every day, at a constant temperature of 22 °C (72 °F) year-round.
