Description
Camping at East Canyon State Park, near Morgan, in the northern Utah mountains, on the shores of East Canyon Reservoir (at about 5,700 feet elevation, with a "dark sky" designation). The park has around sixty sites spread across three campgrounds; the main one, Dixie Creek, offers full-service sites (water, electricity, sewer), others with water and electricity, and a few with electricity only, accommodating RVs up to about 58 to 62 feet. On-site: restroom buildings with hot showers and flush toilets, a dump station, drinking water, shade shelters, fire rings, and a boat ramp; yurts, cabins, and pioneer wagons are also available. The reservoir is suitable for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing. Open year-round; reservations recommended.
