Description
The first national park in the world (1872), Yellowstone is globally known for its geysers — including the iconic Old Faithful — its colorful hot springs, and its abundant wildlife (bison, wolves, bears). The Old Faithful area, with its visitor center, historic hotel, and services, is the most visited point in the park. The nearest campgrounds (Madison, Grant Village) are about twenty minutes away by paved road.
