Free advice for camping along the Murray River

Summary: There is something so special about finding the perfect riverside cabin, but the challenge for most people is finding them, as it can be very difficult to know if you can get to them. We've discovered many camps on the Murray River, but today I'm going to share with you a little gem in a charming town called Token Wall. This is a free campsite with no facilities, but there is a paid campsite with amenities nearby. It is a beautiful area with beaches on the river bank and places to fish. It is important to respect local laws regarding fishing. If you have any recommendations for campsites in Victoria, please share them in the comments. Don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video.

There's something special about finding the perfect free riverside campsite

There's something special about finding the perfect free riverside campsite, but the challenge for most people is finding them because it can be so difficult to know if you can get to them. Without a doubt, if you know a Victorian camper, they all have their favorite campsite along the Murray River. We've already experienced several ourselves, in case you haven't today I'm going to share this little gem with you in a charming town called Token Wall.

Enjoy nature near the river

It's really nice even though there's a highway right there. We left Geelong around 8am, so we decided to stop on the side of the road on the way to Token Wall so we could wake up early and head down the river quickly when it was light. It's so good, isn't it? I haven't slept this well in a long time.

Explore the region and campsites

We took a slightly further route, a bit further than last time, from where the bridge is that takes you to Token Wall, heading towards a turning area near MS Beach. There are plenty of different camps you can choose from along the river here. This time, we are following our friends who have just joined us. It's an amazing place, isn't it? Look at all this available space – there is so much room here.

Discover a free campsite

This is a free campsite which means there are no facilities at all but the upside is that there is actually a campsite just around the corner where I think you pay 10 $ per night and you can use the toilet.

Spend time at Town Beach

This is Town Beach and it is 10 $ per night. It can accommodate up to 12 people per site, which means that's 10 $s per site. They have toilets and a dump point.

Exploring Token Wall Town

I wanted to make this video because the town of Token Wall is so nice. When we traveled around Australia and went to igas I loved them and this one was no exception.
