A small village of A-shaped houses
Here is this little village of A-frame houses that looks like a village of little houses. They were built in the 60s, so they are at least fifty years old. There are about thirteen of them here and the residents pay rent of three hundred and fifty dollars a month, water included. This is a really good deal, most residents take advantage of this low rent to live in a smaller space. Some houses are really tiny, others a little bigger, but it's a really nice place. This is the kind of place I would live if I was staying in an area temporarily. I've always looked for small and cheap places, and this one is really cool, I hope I can stay there long enough to save some money. It's really a great place.
A pleasant campsite by the water
I set up at the campsite, a really cool place but a bit windy. I used to have a lavalier mic to reduce wind noise, but it broke. I'm waiting until I get to my camp job to order a new one and have it delivered there. Otherwise, I have a small wind shield on my camera, but it doesn't work as well as the lavalier mic. Anyway, the campsite is great, with gravel sites, a table and a fire ring. I'm right on the water, it's really great.
Fishing and discovering new places
I had a great time fishing, I even caught a fish. I love fishing, it's relaxing and exciting at the same time. I bought a fishing rod and tackle, I was so glad I found a former fisherman to help me pick everything out. I'm going to stay here to enjoy the freedom before starting my summer job. I will continue to film my adventures and share with you.
