Free Camping on the Edge of Sedona
Welcome to the beautiful surroundings of Sedona
We are currently camping outside of Sedona at a place called boondocking. It's really beautiful here. We met our friend Zach on our way north to Wyoming. He knows the area very well, and found us a great campsite. We are at the edge of a magnificent little cliff, with a breathtaking view of a truly beautiful landscape.
A Memorable Hike on Bell Trail
Today we plan to hike the Bell Trail, a seven-mile loop with water along the way. Dogs will be happy to walk around and enjoy the warmth of the day. Even if it's a little cool this morning, the sun will soon warm up the atmosphere. The hike looks great, and it's a great place for a nature getaway.
Discovery of Montezuma Well
After our hike, we visited Montezuma Well, an important gathering place for Native Americans many years ago. It was an enriching experience to learn about the history of this region and admire its natural beauty.
A Relaxing Fishing Before Continuing Our Trip
We also took advantage of our time in Arizona to go fishing with Zach. Unfortunately, Lindsay and I were unlucky, but the place was so beautiful that it was worth it. After this busy day, we will hit the road towards Page, in our motorhome, for new adventures.
Return to Nature in the Westlands
We had a beautiful drive from Sedona to Page via Hwy 89A, some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. After exploring the surrounding area, we finally found a great place to camp along the Colorado River. It’s simply spectacular and we can’t wait to enjoy the nature around us.
