Exploring Arizona: Craggy Wash and Standard Wash
I just want to see the view from above but I feel uncomfortable. It's 86 degrees today, which is very hot for us. We'll get your ball, it's red again. We are Dave, Carey and Rudel. Craggy Wash: A Magnificent View
This is the main view of the Craggy Wash camping area. This isn't our usual wild camping location, but we like this place because we know we can get good cell reception here, and the view is beautiful. It's very close to Lake Havasu here in Arizona. Oh, that's cool, bubbles make me happy!
Standard Wash: A Calm and Peaceful Spot
We finished our work and headed south to Lake Havasu City, perhaps somewhere less crowded. 10 miles south of Lake Havasu you'll find Standard Wash, a BLM area where you can camp. It's a quiet place with a magnificent view, and we even have internet to work with! It's great for Rudel, it's nice and gentle on his paws, and he's having a lot of fun here. Good dog, good dog Rudel!
A Day of Relaxation: Swimming and Sunsets
What do van lifers do when it's hot? We look for water and cool off. Today it's 86 degrees, so we went to find a place to cool off. We found a great park for our dog and a private beach to relax in. It was a great day for everyone! Afterwards, we enjoyed a sunset kayak cruise. It was magical!
