Good free camping addresses in the United States
In this episode, we're going to show you some of our favorite free campsites that we've discovered during our two and a half years on the road. Whether you are a fan of wild camping or free campsites, you will surely find what you are looking for among our recommendations.
Sheep Bridge Road in Virgin, Utah
During our travels, we discovered some great free camping sites just outside of some of the most popular national parks in the United States. One such park is Zion National Park in southern Utah. We particularly enjoyed camping along Sheep Bridge Road near the small town of Virgin, west of the main park entrance. From this campsite, we were able to explore Zion National Park during our episodes 11 and 29.
Buffalo National Grassland near Badlands National Park
If you're heading to the Badlands in western South Dakota, you'll find some great free campsites just south of Wall in the Buffalo National Grassland, just outside Badlands National Park. From our location, we had an amazing view of the park entrance, which we shared in our episode 43.
