Yosemite National Park


THE Yosemite National Park is a national park located in the Sierra Nevada in California, United States. It was established in 1890 and today is one of the most visited national parks in the United States.

The park covers an area of more than 3,000 km² and includes glacial valleys, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and mountains, including the famous Half Dome and El Capitan. It is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including giant sequoias.

The park is popular for outdoor activities, including hiking, climbing, fishing, camping, and skiing. It is open year-round, although some roads and facilities are closed in winter due to snow.

THE Yosemite National Park is also famous for its spectacular landscapes, which have inspired many artists and writers, including Ansel Adams, who took iconic photos of the park.
