Lacs Vermilion
Camping — sleeping outdoors, in a vehicle, tent, or trailer between 9pm and 9am — is banned at all times on every street and public place in Banff ($200 fine), as well as on any private property. A unique case in Canada: Banff is the only incorporated town inside a national park, but its own municipal bylaws govern here, not Parks Canada's.

Les Lacs Vermilion, à seulement 5 minutes à l'ouest de Banff dans le parc national de Banff, sont accessibles par la route panoramique des Lacs-Vermilion, longue de 4,3 km et praticable toute l'année.
