Description
Presque 100 ans surplombant le Painted Desert, l'auberge a subi de nombreux changements. Le bâtiment d'origine du début des années 1920 était en bois pétrifié. La façade actuelle en adobe date de la rénovation du Painted Desert Inn dans les années 1930. Le monument historique national ne fonctionne plus que comme un musée maintenant, sans hébergement ni service de restauration.
