Boondocking au Palm Canyon BLM, dans la réserve faunique nationale Kofa, à environ 3 miles de la route US 95 en empruntant Palm Canyon Road. Le camping dispersé gratuit à l'aire du Palm Canyon BLM est autorisé pour une durée maximale de 14 jours et est situé juste à l'extérieur de la limite de la réserve. Après un trajet lent sur une route en gravier cahoteuse, nous avons été récompensés par une vue panoramique sur le désert, avec les montagnes Kofa et le pic Signal en arrière-plan.
