Camping du parc d'État Escalante Petrified Forest, à Escalante, au sud de l'Utah, surplombant le réservoir Wide Hollow (130 acres) à environ 5 900 pieds d'altitude. Le camping compte 22 emplacements, dont 6 avec électricité, accueillant tentes, remorques et VR de 18 à 40 pieds. Sur place : eau potable, blocs sanitaires avec douches et toilettes à chasse, station de vidange, tables, ronds de feu, grils et abris d'ombrage; un centre d'accueil présente des expositions sur la forêt pétrifiée. Le parc offre des sentiers à travers le bois pétrifié (à photographier seulement, cueillette interdite), la baignade, la location de kayak et de planche, et la pêche au réservoir. Ouvert à l'année (couverture cellulaire faible dans le secteur); réservation recommandée.
