Description
Le Mammoth Campground est un terrain de camping géré par le National Park Service dans le parc national de Yellowstone, au Wyoming. Situé à une altitude de 1 890 mètres, il se trouve à environ 8 km au sud de l'entrée nord du parc (Gardiner) et près des terrasses de calcaire de Mammoth Hot Springs. Ce camping est unique, car il est le seul de Yellowstone ouvert toute l'année. Il offre entre 82 et 85 emplacements sur une colline semi-boisée de genévriers et de sapins de Douglas, avec de belles vues dégagées.
