🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in L'Épiphanie
In L'Épiphanie, parking a recreational vehicle on any public road, municipal lot, or municipal building is banned, except for the time needed to pick up passengers or load. It is also banned to use a vehicle parked in a public space to live or sleep in it ($75 to $150 fine). Overnight street parking is also banned by default from November 1 to April 15 (midnight to 7am), except for a one-time lift announced by the city when no snow-removal operation is planned -- the reverse of the mechanism seen in most other municipalities. This very recent bylaw (September 2025) replaces the parking provisions of the former municipal bylaw. Good RV trip planning always includes checking the parking rules of the towns along the way.
