🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in Malartic
Verified on 16/08/2026
Parking is banned in Malartic on the public road from 10pm to 4am, November 1 to April 30, townwide. The city also runs an official, free 5-spot RV halte near the Musée minéralogique and Parc du Belvédère, open May 1 to October 31, reserved for non-resident visitors for a maximum of 24 hours (first come, first served), with a dump station nearby. Fires, commercial activity, drugs, and alcohol are explicitly banned there. Wild camping has its fans in Québec, but every municipality draws its own limits around it.
