🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in Mont-Saint-Hilaire
Verified on 16/08/2026
Bylaw 919 (article 34) bans overnight parking on any public road in Mont-Saint-Hilaire between 2am and 7am, from December 1 to March 31, unless the city announces the ban is lifted based on snow-removal needs. In addition, article 31.1 specifically bans parking a recreational vehicle (trailer, tent-trailer, motorhome, camper van, or any similar livable vehicle) on a public road for more than 24 consecutive hours, and completely bans this type of vehicle from public municipal lots, including those at municipal buildings. A well-parked recreational vehicle always respects the specific bylaw of the town it's in. (Source: Ville de Mont-Saint-Hilaire, bylaw no. 919)
