🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
Verified on 16/08/2026
Sainte-Anne-des-Monts's bylaw no. 20-900 explicitly bans camping on a public road or public place, except in backup camping spaces designated by municipal council or with temporary authorization. Its definition of "camping" expressly includes sleeping in a vehicle, in addition to setting up a trailer, tent-trailer, tent, camper truck, or motorhome ($100 fine plus costs, towing possible). Local news reports mention RV haltes designated by the city, but their precise locations couldn't be confirmed via a direct official source. Parking overnight in an RV calls for the same caution, whether out in nature or in an urban area. (Source: Ville de Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, bylaw 20-900)
