🏛️ Municipal Regulations — RV Parking in Shediac
Verified on 16/08/2026
Since the 2023 reform, Shediac has annexed the former Shediac Cape, Scoudouc Road, Pointe-du-Chêne sectors and part of Scoudouc, expanding its territory without changing its name or town status. Municipal Bylaw No. 18-28 bans, at all times, year-round, street parking of any motorhome, trailer, or semi-trailer, anywhere on the municipal road network (sec. 2c, restated in sec. 10d for detached trailers) -- a ban that isn't limited to nighttime or winter, unlike the same bylaw's general overnight parking restriction (sec. 11, November 1 to April 1, midnight-7am, $30 to $125 fine). This bylaw predates the 2023 reform and nothing confirms it was formally extended to the newly annexed sectors, but it's the only version currently published by the Town. Between the beach and the lobster, New Brunswick also regulates where an RV may spend the night. (Source: Town of Shediac, Municipal Bylaw No. 18-28)
