Description
Silverhorn Creek Campground includes 67 sites suitable for large recreational vehicles and trailers, but less appropriate for tent campers. The sites are very close together, resembling a commercial parking lot used for overflow campers. Most sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits, but expect to be close to your neighbors. You can obtain firewood by purchasing a fire permit. Amenities include a hand pump for water (drinking water is available at Waterfowl Lakes, 5.5 km north of here), trash bins, and pit toilets. Waterfowl Lakes, Peyto, Bow, and Saskatchewan Crossing are nearby, offering plenty of hiking opportunities.
