Description

The Saamis Tipi was built for the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. Each of the 10 poles features a large storyboard illustrating aspects of Indigenous culture and history. Beneath the Saamis tipi, in the picturesque Seven Persons Coulee, lies the Saamis archaeological site.
