Description
The Under 8 Flags Campground (referred to as 8 Flags Campground by the municipality) is a municipal campground located in Milk River, in southern Alberta. It is situated along Highway 4, near the Milk River and the local golf course. The name of the campground refers to the history of the area, which has been under the administration of eight different flags over the years, including the Hudson's Bay Company and the current Canadian flag. This campground is an economical option for travelers coming from the United States (the Montana border is 15 minutes to the south) or heading to Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
The site offers 34 campsites set on gravel pads, separated by lawns and shaded by trees.
Respect the places and nature, leave nothing behind, and be discreet.
