Absolutely stunning spot about 6 km or less from Highway 102. Called Silver Falls Road. We parked our Ford F 150 with a 27-foot camper on the side of the road near the so-called Crooked Rapids on Silver Falls Road. 5 km from here is a boat ramp, but after seeing and hearing these rapids, we decided to stop here. A few locals drive by and wave. Very friendly. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the bushes and rocks next to the rapids. Omg so peaceful with hardly any traffic except for a few locals. The sound of the rapids is simply sublime. Perfect for sitting in the evening with a drink in hand and enjoying the soothing sound of the rapids. Spectacular sunrise to enjoy your hot coffee on the rock while watching the rapids. Beautiful.
