Rancho Seco RV Camping is located in Rancho Seco Recreational Park, a 400-acre space in California's Central Valley, about 25 miles southeast of Sacramento, near Herald. This park surrounds a large 160-acre artificial lake. Notably, it is adjacent to the decommissioned Rancho Seco nuclear power plant, whose two large cooling towers stand out in the landscape. The campground offers 21 sites dedicated to recreational vehicles (RVs). Please respect the area and nature, leave no trace, and be discreet.
