Description
BLM camping set in the depths of a canyon in the Chuckwalla Mountains, around an oasis of palm trees, with nine sites (including one group site), potable water, tables, shaded shelters, and accessible restroom. Known for one of the most beautiful concentrations of Native American petroglyphs in the Colorado Desert, accessible via an interpretive trail of about 800 meters. First come, first served, with a 14-day stay limit.
