Description
Equestrian camping about 13 km from Borrego Springs via a dirt road crossing an orange grove -- a camp specifically designed for riders, with about thirty to forty corrals. Unlike most primitive campgrounds in the park, there is potable water, flush toilets, and solar showers. Starting point for over 800 km of trails in the Colorado desert; exceptional starry sky (Dark Sky certified park). Closed in summer (June 1 to September 30). Approximately $35 US/night for 2 horses, bookable through ReserveCalifornia.
