Camping at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, in Millington, northwest of Memphis, Tennessee, in a vast hardwood forest along the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The campground has 49 sites with electricity and water, several of which add sewer (full hookups), and accommodates recreational vehicles up to 60 feet. On-site: modern restroom block with hot showers and flush toilets, dump station, and drinking water points distributed throughout the campground. The park offers a lake, hiking and biking trails, fishing, and beautiful opportunities for wildlife observation. Reservations recommended. Reservations via tnstateparks.com.
