The Island in the Sky district perches visitors on a vast mesa overlooking the canyons carved by the Colorado and Green Rivers, rising 600 meters above. The Mesa Arch viewpoint, famous at sunrise, is among the most breathtaking panoramas in Utah. A small campground (Willow Flat, without water) allows for RV stays.
