Camping at Powhatan State Park, along the James River in Virginia (United States). River Bend Campground offers 29 sites with electricity (20/30/50 amps) and water, accommodating recreational vehicles up to 60 feet. On-site: restroom block with hot showers, dump station, water points, laundry facilities, in addition to yurts and rustic sites accessible by canoe or on foot. The park features 2.5 miles of shoreline along the James River, boat ramps, approximately 12 miles of multi-use trails (hiking/biking), 9 miles of equestrian trails, fishing, and paddling programs. River Bend Campground is open from March to December; reservations are recommended.
