Description
Located at an altitude of 2,103 meters, this campground overlooks the river and offers an economical option for visiting Yellowstone National Park. It is situated along the scenic Beartooth Highway (US 212), 18 km east of Cooke City (Montana) and 24 km from the park entrance. The site has 16 wooded sites for tents and small RVs, with a maximum length of 8.5 meters for vehicles and trailers. Reservations are not possible; sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Respect nature and the surroundings, and leave no trace behind.
