Camping at New River Beach Provincial Park, on the Bay of Fundy coast in New Brunswick, is renowned for its large saltwater sandy beach. The park features 99 campsites as well as 4 rustic shelters, with sites offering electricity, unserviced sites, cabins, and group camping. Activities include swimming and exploring tidal pools, kayaking in the Bay of Fundy, three hiking trails (New River Beach 1 km, Barnaby Head 2.7 km, Chitticks Beach 2 km), volleyball, a playground, and an annual sand sculpture contest. Pets are allowed in the campground, but not on the beaches. Reservations are recommended; contact the park for the season and rates.
