Description

La Grande 1 Reservoir is an artificial hydroelectric basin of 70 km² located in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James region, near the Cree community of Chisasibi. Unlike the large upstream reservoirs, such as the Robert-Bourassa Reservoir, it is a low-capacity basin used to supply a run-of-river power station. Please respect the places and nature, and leave no trace.
