Location Map
Description
Rustic BLM camping with about thirty gravel sites, located about fifteen miles west of the Colorado River, right in the geode prospecting area (Hauser Geode Beds, Potato Patch, Opal Hill mine nearby). Compost toilets are available; a non-potable water point for washing is mentioned by some unofficial sources, to be confirmed. Like Wiley's Well, it is part of the Mule Mountains LTVA: free from April 16 to September 14 (14-day limit), paid permit for the rest of the season ($40 US/14 days or $180 US/season).
